You may not feel you are a priority because you have not communicated with your current wealth manager or retirement advisor.
Many potential clients share that they want to switch financial advisors because they feel like just a number or need more adequate communication. Typically, potential clients seek proactive communication, market updates, security, and assurance from their advisors during volatile or fluctuating markets. We hear you and understand that you want an expert to provide you with timely communication and be available to help guide you through life transitions and uncertainty. Hiring an advisor should provide you with peace of mind, clarity, and security regarding your finances.
How we communicate with our clients
We have created many ways to increase communication and engagement with our clients.
11 key aspects of our communication with you
Personal communications
1. First and foremost, we love personal communication with our clients – whether that be through in-person meetings, video meetings, phone calls, emails, or texts. We pride ourselves on good communication, and our clients genuinely enjoy it.
2. Our minimum goal is to meet (preferably in-person) with our clients at least once per year, but additional meetings can be arranged as and when needed. We proactively reach out to clients to schedule the annual meeting.
3. Every year, we send a postcard to thank our clients for their continued trust in us. We also send a postcard near your birthday with a QR code for you to scan and select a birthday book of your choice.
4. We occasionally send text messages regarding important updates and events.
Informational communications
5. Every week, our clients receive an email market update, sharing information on market movements and key economic indicators.
6. Once a month, we send an email only for our clients called “Insider,” which includes updates on our team, reminders of important things to know, events we are planning, videos about the market, real estate updates, advisor corner, local happenings, a section on individual growth and other fun extras.
7. Every 2-3 weeks, we send blogs, covering financial topics that might be beneficial.
8. We frequently publish guides to help in various areas, including end-of-year planning, tax & retirement planning, money conversations, caring for aging parents, and many more. Some of these include handy and printable checklists to help as you face some complex issues.
9. In April 2023, we launched the Money PIG Podcast, which offers insights from our advisors and industry experts on various money topics sprinkled with humor.
Website and social media
10. Our website is a fantastic knowledge center with extensive resources. You can even narrow your focus by looking up a topic of interest in our search bar or by clicking on our blog categories.
11. We are active on social media: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
In conclusion, our clients praise us each year in our client satisfaction survey on how well we communicate with them. Communication is essential, not just taking the time to reach out but keeping clients informed and updated and listening to their needs.
Not receiving our communications?
Of course, when we send out a communication, it does not mean that you actually saw it! Please check your spam folder from time to time.
